Ron has been Co-Owner with his wife, Claudia, since 1997. Ron feels great satisfaction when customers find flooring that makes their homes beautiful and comfortable. When not at work, Ron enjoys flying and working on his airplane. Ron also enjoys traveling and spending time with Claudia and their 2 boys
CLAUDIA SMITH
Owner
Claudia has been Co-Owner since 1997. Claudia is active in all aspects of management such as accounting, billing, material purchasing and advertising. Claudia enjoys attending Carpet One conventions and participating in educational classes for the flooring industry. Claudia also enjoys spending time with Ron and their 2 boys.
RICHARD THOMAS
Operations Manager
Richard has been managing the operations since 2002. He was class of 1989 at Texas A&M and graduated with a degree in Political Science and Economics. Always keeping the customer first in mind, Richard ensures all installations and product shipments are running smoothly. When he is not at the office, Richard enjoys watching his daughter and son play sports.
MIRIAM DENTON
Certified Flooring Consultant
Miriam moved to College Station in 2015 and she began working at Aggieland Carpet One soon after. She grew up in the construction and wood working environment, so she understands customers design and flooring needs. Miriam enjoys seeing jobs come together and the excitement her customers have with the finished product. In her spare time, she loves to travel with her husband.
CHRISTY SONTAG
Receptionist
If you have shopped with us in the past 10 years, chances are you were greeted with a warm welcome and a smile from our receptionist, Christy Sontag. Christy has many important duties, from directing phone traffic to processing payments for customers. Outside of work, Christy enjoys baking, spending time with her grandchildren, and taking care of her many animals.

Constance has been working with Aggieland Carpet One since graduating from Texas A&M in 2004. Since joining us, Constance has become an industry expert; she loves new construction projects as much as remodels where she can help you execute your dream. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her friends, her husband Matt and their 3 children, and their Doberman, Mia.
VICTOR TUNER
Warehouse Manager
Victor has been our Warehouse Manager for over 10 years. He manages a diverse and large inventory of materials and products. He also handles shipments that come in as well as shipments that go out for installation. Victor and his wife have 2 sons, 2 daughters, and 4 beautiful granddaughters. In his free time, Victors hobbies include bingo, fishing, and old cars.
BELINDA SUTTON
Accounting and Bookkeeping
Belinda is a 25 year veteran in the accounting and bookkeeping field. She is a very important part of the Aggieland team by striving to keep things running smooth. Belinda is a native of Louisiana where she attended McNeese State University.
